In bone conduction headphones, the sound is transmitted by the bones instead of transmitting music through the ear canal. These headphones might prove beneficial to those who suffer from hearing impairments. The bone transmits the vibrations directly to the inner ear. If your inner ear nerves or eardrums work, you should be able to hear music if you wear these headphones, which means that you can hear sounds close to you but not in the distance.

Having the open ear design allows you to get the music into your ear through your cheekbones, allowing your ears to be open to the ambient sounds, keeping your ears alert to your surroundings, avoiding danger, and listening to music at the same time.

These headphones do not have any adjustment mechanisms. In most cases, the belt can be worn behind the head close to the neck since it loops behind the head at neck level. If you find that the headphones are too small and you have to return them, make sure that you check the return policy when you are making your purchase.

My Personal Experience with Bone Conduction Headphones, Tayogo Wireless

As of right now, I have tried three different types of bone conduction headphones. My previous purchases were a bit more expensive than these.

In my opinion, these are the best and the cheapest of the three options. Of the three, these are the only ones that can be worn for a prolonged period without any pain or hesitation. Reading glasses and sunglasses can be worn with them. In contrast to the other two, they don’t slide around when worn. By far, they’re the best I’ve tried.

My son is deaf and wears hearing aids in both ears. This is not a result of noise damage but instead of premature birth caused auditory nerve damage. Any conventional headphones are useless to him. One review mentioned that the Tayogo bone-conducting headphones allowed them to hear other sounds while wearing them.

It’s great that you can hear through bone conduction without blocking your eardrums. They connect to his computer and phone. He also responded to my question.

A shock appears on his face when he realizes he can even hear me while wearing headphones. We forgot to bring them along during his audiology appointment so his doctor could look at them.

Unlike other headphones, these are much lighter and set across his ears. If anything lasts six months for my son, who is highly rough on items/equipment, it’s a miracle. I hope he doesn’t ruin anything like other items.

Why should you buy Bone Conduction Headphones, Tayogo Wireless?

  • If you have a sensitive auditory system, it is possible that you are not a big fan of earphones. They do not go inside the ear but rest near it, making them the best option to use.
  • You can still hear the road noise and the traffic sounds while listening to an audiobook while driving.
  • It is straightforward to pair the devices.
  • You can change the tracks and the volume of your music from the headphones.

Why should you not buy Bone Conduction Headphones, Tayogo Wireless?

Each of the control buttons has at least two functions. Also, they are all placed in a row in a space about 1-inch long. In most cases, you have to start over if you tap the wrong button or incorrectly. There is proximity between the control buttons. When I try to adjust the volume, I always hit the wrong one. It takes a bit of practice.

Decision Time

Overall, Bone Conduction Headphones, Tayogo Wireless do what they’re supposed to do. After using conventional earbuds for a while, the adjustment period is longer. It is strange to hear things with your ear plugged, but it gets easier with time. Their primary purpose is to allow users to make hands-free calls, and they do an adequate job of it. Those who have used them have told me that they don’t have the best sound quality, but that is what you would expect, considering how they work and where the microphone is located.
